Awesome engine and have had no problems after 2 yr December 30, 2013 Reviewer: Robert Fingerhut from Fort Smith, AR United States   I stumbled upon my receipt for this engine that I purchased back in 2011 and decided I should write a review to show my appreciation.  The stock engine in my 2002 dodge ram blew up just short of 100k miles.  I did a lot of research and found this website and was sold.  Had the engine shipped out and I installed the new engine myself with the help of my family who has experience building and installing engines.  2 years and 23k miles later, the engine still runs like a dream.  The stock engine had a tick in it, but this one purrs like a kitten.  Step on it a little bit and it's clean as a whistle.  You shouldn't have any reserves purchasing this engine if you're in the market.  I do a lot of research when purchasing items like this and was extremely hesitant purchasing something like this online, but it has definitely paid off.  Great product and great service from these folks. The dodge 4.7 April 1, 2013 Reviewer: GERALD B. from DELRAN, NJ United States   I'm very happy to say I just took my 2000 Dodge Durango motor out because  of a motor knock and found this site for a remanufactured motor because thay are the only ones that mention fixing Dodges wrong doing in the 4.7 motor.I'm hoping to get my motor by the first of Feb.Will let you know how it goes  Thanks Update 4/1/2013 Well I honestly forgot to follow up as we were happy to have the vehicle back and operating properly. Powertrain delivered the engine on time and our mechanic slammed it in. We got the truck back in a few days and it runs like a new vehicle again. We actually had a problem a few days later and took it back worried that it was the engine. We called powertrain and Andy in warranty dept was there to offer help if needed. It turned out that two of our injectors had a problem and the mechanic says this may have caused the problem with the first engine. Don't ignore those engine lights Andy says !! It saved our reman engine . The mechanic got us back together and we are very happy with this engine and the service . Powertrain is honestly a good group of people who are there to help. The dodge 4.7 January 6, 2013 Reviewer: Tom J. from Springfield,MO   Hands down the best experience I could have asked for given the circumstances. My Engine Blew on the way to visit our family  for the holidays. I found powertrain after researching on google for engine suppliers and called to speak with them directly. The customer service in this place was fantastic. I spoke with Andy and was handled very professionally he explained the entire process to me and also took the time to educate me about what the common issues were with this engine as well as things to do to prevent future problems....Wow !! During the entire process I contacted 4 other suppliers. I only spoke with one as the other 3 did not answer there phone.  After that process I decided to give powertrain a shot at my business. I was told the engine would arrive in roughly 4 days and to our surprise it was there in two!! We had the vehicle towed to a local mechanic that my parents had used for years and it was installed within roughly a day. The mechanic told me he was impressed with the quality of the engine after he unpackaged it. We were so happy to get this repair turned around by the time we were ready to travel home. Powertrain and Andy helped us turn a bad situation into a decent one and other then having to spend alot of unexpected money we were able to salvage our holiday and still drive our vehicle home. I hope this helps with your decision I have 3k miles on our powertrain dodge 4.7 engine today and am very happy with it. Thanks guys you are the best!! Was this review helpful to you?
