• Camshaft
• Connecting Rods

Each of these components is inspected and either replaced or restored as part of the remanufacturing process.

A. Yes! All of our crate engines come with a 2 year/24k mile warranty against manufacturer defects.

A. A remanufactured engine/transmission can have a lifespan comparable to a new engine. Proper installation, regular maintenance, and proper care are all crucial to longevity.

However, in some cases, new engines have a factory defect that can be corrected during the remanufacturing process. When we can correct a defect, our remanufactured engines will often last longer than the factory motor.

A. Instantly! At Powertrain Products, most of our products come with a "core waiver," which means you don't need to pay the core charge right when you buy.

Instead, we only charge a core fee if you don't ship us your old engine, transmission, transfer case, or differential in a reasonable time (see our core policy for more details).

A. Powertrain Products engines undergo a rigorous remanufacturing process:

• Every component is disassembled, deep cleaned, and inspected
• Magnaflux testing is used to check metal components for microscopic flaws
• All critical or flawed components are replaced, as well as all bearings, pistons, rings, lifters, gaskets, valve seals, the oil pump, and the engine water pump and timing chain if the water pump is mechanical
• Engines go thru a multi-stage inspection process, are pressurized with oil and then are SIM tested at high RPM after assembly.

Because of our rigorous process, we can offer up to 7 years and 1 million miles of No-Fault warranty coverage. No other remanufactured engine company comes close.
