Dodge Rebuilt Engines

The Dodge line developed over the years from a lineup of fairly standard pushrod style, reliable engines into some of the most complex and troublesome engines that our industry has had to deal with. We have poured countless man-hours and money into reengineering the less than acceptable products that Dodge has churned out in the last 15 years.

As we like to call it at Powertrain Products, the Dot 7 Phenomenon is the culmination of all engines produced starting in 1997; 2.7, 3.8, 4.7, and 5.7 (hemi) engines are all plagued with numerous problems, many of which have similar issues throughout the lineup.

We have redesigned and applied aftermarket fixes to make these engines the reliable pieces of equipment that they were originally thought to be. The most prevalent problems today would be the oil sludging issues and the valve seat fallout—both of which cause catastrophic engine failures. We reengineer these engines with things like newly designed pistons, larger drain back holes, and all-steel seats to name a few. Once these fixes are applied, the result is a product that we are proud to stand behind with the strongest warranty in the industry. On top of that, we are the only manufacturer that offers a no-fault guarantee.

While shopping for your new Dodge engine, please feel free to explore our available lineup and ask our in-house drivetrain geniuses about updates to your product. As always, we are here to help and advise so you can make the best decision for your vehicle.
